Chocolate Protein Waffles

I love having protein waffles as fuel for leg day on weekend mornings. They are simple to make and take very little time.

Recipe:

1/3 cup (40 g) Oat Flour

1 scoop (37 g) Chocolate Protein Powder*

1/2 cup Almond Milk

1 Egg White

1/8 tsp Baking Powder

For a richer chocolate taste also add:

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 Tbsp Stevia

1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

Mix all ingredients together until well blended and place in pre-heated waffle iron (or on a pre-heated skillet to make pancakes) until done.

Devour!

*Note: I use a veggie protein powder because I’m allergic to whey protein, but in this recipe egg white or whey protein will also work well.
